Grand Garden Apartment
Grand Garden Apartment
Flamboyant, eclectic, unusual & unique three bedroom lower ground floor apartment with private garden patio. Featuring a double, a twin and a quaint single bedroom, the Grand Garden Apartment takes up the entire lower ground floor of an amazing gothic Victorian villa, situated close to the centre of Bath.
With its spacious sitting room, plenty of dining space and eccentric bohemian decor, this apartment feels like a home and makes for an inspiring and comfortable retreat during your stay in Bath.
When you enter this awesome villa, you walk into an amazing stone entry way which leads to the stairwell down to your enormous apartment. With tile and hardwood floors throughout, the spaciousness of this apartment is stunning, and you will feel that you are staying in the most unusual accommodation you have ever known.
LOCATION: The Wells Road leads right to the centre of Bath, and our house is located just down a hill from the River Avon, so it is an easy stroll into Bath with all its cafes, pubs, excellent restaurants and historic sites. We are also a short stroll from our “Reproduction Georgian” Southgate Shopping Centre, replete with restaurants and shops steps away from the Bath Spa Railway Station.
You will also find a Sainsbury’s Local grocery and convenience store there as well as the hop on – hop off sight seeing buses.
If you walk up the pedestrian streets through the shopping centre, you will reach the Roman Baths and Bath Abbey in short order.
Walking is always the best way to get around Bath, but fortunately, there are also many long stay car parks in the centre, so you could drive if you prefer.
We also have buses and taxis and the Bath Bus Tour.
The Bath Spa Bus Station connects with the Bristol Airport Bus as well as the National Express coach that takes you direct to London and Heathrow.
The Bath Spa Train Station connects to London’s Paddington Station, which is only 90 minutes away.
You control your entire apartment, but you can also use some shared spaces, such as the cloak room off of the ground floor foyer and the front patio.
KIDS: Children are welcome as long as they and their parents are well behaved.
As this is a ground floor apartment, babies are also allowed in this compact apartment, but we do not offer any extra children’s items, so you must bring whatever you need.
PETS: Pets are welcome as long as they and their human companions are well behaved. This is an accessible ground floor flat, but PLEASE clean up after your pet and bring your own dog bed and dog towels to wipe your pet’s feet.
PET FEE: There is a £5 per day Pet fee to be paid to the caretaker on arrival. Thank you.

Comments from the Guestbook:
lovely apartment, very well located 3-5/9/21
This is in a great location and suprisingly sizable with plenty of living space. 14-21/8/21
Property is good value for money and is nicer than the photos suggest. It is a basement flat so don’t expect great views. There is no parking on site and free parking is a ten minute walk up the road. Mark (accomodation liaison) is a lovely guy who is super helpful. I would come back here again.

Spacious and comfortable, a short walk from town and the station, we would recommend this place. November 2021
A lovely place to stay in Bath. Comms were great and everything was clean and well appointed. I couldn’t fault it, we had a great time at this property.
